Being able to focus is critical to the achievement of goals in one’s personal and professional life.  But focusing is hard, we all encounter lots of distractions.  The new Distracted Driving Law got me thinking, that maybe we need to adopt an Exercise in Focused Living.

The exercise would require for a few minutes each day that we:

1.  Quiet the internal chatter.

2.  Shut off the electronic communication.

3.  Wait in the stillness.

For in the waiting and the quietness our focus will be renewed, clarity will return, and we will be energized to move forward again.  When focus and clarity are attune, wisdom and discernment are often present.  Imagine what you could accomplish in that state.
